THE RINK

Our approach to illuminate the Westmount Park Ice Rink seeks to celebrate the intimacy of this natural setting. The area is not surrounded with floodlights and fences as most urban rinks are. Instead this setting is Nestled winthin the trees and under the stars. and our scheme aims to reinforce the special character of this place.

A combination of phosphorescent and reflective materials were used to frame the rink intimately and bring the stars down closer to the ground.
